| Yellow
Wasp is a premium brand of plum brandy, prepared and
aged according to traditional distilling recipes passed
from father to son in "master distiller" families of
Southeastern Europe over hundreds of years. |
| From
the earliest of times in villages of Shumadia a yellow
wasp stands as a symbol of fruitful ripeness, vivaciousness,
purity and stylishness. In this past decade a Shumadian
peasant has added to the yellow wasp a sign of its natural
origin. |
The
experience shows that yellow wasp takes its juices excusively
from the ripe fruit which has special quality, much sugar,
low sourness, which is free from spraying and has a perfect
purity deriving from the sunny southern exposing grounds.
|

''THE
YELLOW WASP" should
be consumed as an aperitif and digestive liquor for special
occasions as this is surely merited by its tradition and
quality.

Osa -The Yellow Wasp:A Drink That Bites!
|
That
is why we particulary praise a brandy produced from
the plums which are consumed by the yellow wasp. It's
a sure sign of plums' exceptional quality and denoyes
the beginning of a harvest made to a super-quality natural
brandy, with its distinctive aroma and its values "THE
YELLOW WASP". |
|
Our
ancestors have shown their gratitude toward the yellow
wasp by brewing solely this vivacious kind of brandy,
while they constructed their special type of barrels
from the oak tree, where praised brandy cured
and obtained in time of aging its typical aroma. In
years of plum fruit's bad quality, the yellow wasp
didn't take the juices from that fruit, the peasants
wouldn't brew a bad brandy, and their oak barrels
remained waiting for better yeld as they shouldn't
draw the smell from the bad brandy.
|
The
same perfect brandy produce today yet the old and wise peasants
from the Shumadian villages. In cooperation with them we
produce this same high-quality brandy, as an artisan product
obtained from ripe, high quality and unsprayed plums Which
are today still visited by the yellow wasp), brewed in small
cadrons of 100 litre capacity, and which have been aged
their own number of years in peasants' clean oak barrels.
